Menopause, Andropause, Anti-aging Congress Vienna (December 11-13, 2008)

Pantarhei Bioscience has been invited to present a lecture on estetrol at the Menopause, Andropause, Anti-aging Congress that will be held in Vienna from December 11-13, 2008. The title of this lecture will be “The fourth estrogen estetrol; a natural fetal SERM”.

 

Pantarhei participated in the workshop “Hurdles between Inventing and Marketing for Small to Medium-sized Enterprises” at the Dutch FIGON Medicine days (October 8, 2008).

This workshop was organised by FIGON in cooperation with the Life Sciences and Health department of SenterNovem/Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Biotech managers discussed their experience with laws and regulations which could be obstructive to innovation at all possible stages in drug development. The workshop was open to interested stakeholders in the field of drug development.

 

Contraceptive study with Estetrol completed (September 11, 2008)

The phase II proof of concept clinical study investigating the contraceptive effects of our compound estetrol has been successfully completed. Currently analysis of the data is ongoing and the first results are very promising. Ovulation is adequately inhibited and no relevant adverse events were reported.
