Contraceptive study with Estetrol started (February 21, 2008)
A phase II clinical study investigating the contraceptive effects of our human fetal SERM estetrol either alone or in combination with natural progesterone or the synthetic progestogen desogestrel is currently ongoing. Screening of the subjects has almost been completed and the first 18 subjects have started the intake of study medication. Preliminary results will be available in April 2008 and presented at the 10th Congress of the European Society of Contraception in Prague in May of this year.
